PRICELESS POEMS (verses one to nine)

1There are some classic poems
that shall never be overrated,
like the inscription on this canvas

2There are some arrears
that shall never be avoided,
like the debt that all man pay

3There are some tick tocks of time
that shall never be recovered,
like the minutes you’ll take frustrating a cipher

4There are some ciphers
that shall never be decoded,
like the cake that no man dares to bake

5There are some mysteries
that shall never be resolved,
like the recipe Jesus used for wine

6There are some feral lions
that shall never source prey on game,
like the one of the Kingdom of Swaziland

7There are some horses
that shall never be ridden,
like the clear one every beggar desires

8There are some wishes
that shall never be granted,
like that of immortality

9There are some poems
that shall never be completed,
like these continuous thoughts…

The new kid on the block

After a short absentia (due to internal issues) Modern Society is back on the web. My pen has however been bleeding ink, so you can look forward to new, better and improved publications.
Heres what to expect this time around;

1. The latest poetry news, past and upcoming events.
2. Publications on Swazi music, poetry and arts.
3. A gig guide or map to upcoming poetry events (recital festivals).
4. Competitions for aspiring poets.
5. AND YES, MORE POEMS, from me and other aspiring poets.
6. Other ARTicles

We hope the changes we will be bringing will up the standards of MS Online Magazine
